Our Community

In 2022, let us be steadfast in faith as God is gracious and faithful.

  • Be a light unto the world and pray for one another, our community, and the world. 
  • Pray for wisdom for safe guidance and healthy practices in our community.
  • Pray for the healing of those who are ill.
  • Pray for the health and safety of all essential workers: health care workers, public safety personnel, farmers, emergency medical technicians, grocers and food service workers, and so many others.
  • Pray for all nationwide measures to control the spread of the coronavirus to be met by the general public with calm acceptance, fortitude, and endurance.
  • Pray for an end to racism that continues to destroy lives and debase good people.

Worship

In response to the coronavirus pandemic, we prayerfully discern the format of worship and service in light of the safety of the community and safety of individuals as we seek to show God's love to each other, the community, and the world.

Weekly virtual online worship on Facebook or YouTube. Join us for our virtual live-stream worship at 10:00 AM Sunday mornings. These are recorded and accessible through Facebook, YouTube, and the Harmony UMC website afterwards.

Sunday at 10:00 AM - Traditional worship in the sanctuary (including Children's Church)

Wednesday at 7:00 PM - Casual Bible Study -- In sanctuary & ZOOM (see Events page for more details).

Worship Etiquette Regarding Pandemic Health Measures: We are a health-conscious congregation following current West Virginia guidelines.

We encourage everyone to be attentive to and practice safe health measures according to the guidelines of the state of West Virginia and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

We strongly support the wearing of face coverings indoors by persons who recently have been exposed to coronavirus and who have been in densely attended indoor events.

Should the pandemic flare up again in this region, face coverings and other measures to protect health may return.
